The Toledo Rowing Club has an active and growing Masters rowing program. Masters is an age category that refers to adult rowers.
Skill levels range from beginning recreational rowers to competitive ‘medal winners’ with years of experience. Masters single scullers can be seen on the river from “Docks In” in March to “Docks Out” in November. We currently have crews of men, women, and mixed gender boats available to row as eights, fours, doubles, pairs, and singles (8+, 4+, 2x, 2-, 1x). We have recreational and competitive shells, as well as equipment that can be adapted for those with a wide range of mobility concerns.
Free Learn to Row Days: Keep an eye out on the TRC Calendar for free learn to row days. Each day will consist of a boathouse tour and continue with learning about the equipment used in the sport. Depending on weather there will also be opportunities to row on the water with qualified, experienced rowers.
